Gymnastics Saskatchewan is the governing body for the sport of gymnastics in Saskatchewan. The Gymnastics Saskatchewan Membership fee is required for all recreation and competitive athletes. The membership is a yearly fee that is good for classes running from September 1 through August 31 each year. The recreation GymSask fee for 2024-2025 is $48.00, which also includes membership with Gymnastics Canada. This fee will be added to your invoice the first time you register within the year. The fee is transferable to most gymnastics clubs within Saskatchewan. Any participant who is in a class or attending drop in must pay the fee. This includes children who are scooting, crawling, walking, running, jumping and so on.
The GymSask fee is non refundable.
These fees go toward such things as coach education, club and athlete assistance, insurance and access to professional advice as needed.
Program Fees
Recreation class fees are based on the number of classes you receive in the session you are registering for. On average the Fall and Winter sessions will have 10 classes, and the Spring and Mini will have 7-8 classes.
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE THE START DATE. IF YOU ARE APPLING FOR OUTSIDE FUNDING, YOU MUST SEND IN PROOF OF APPLICATION TO [email protected] AT LEAST SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE THE START DATE. If you have installments set up through the system, this does not count as non payment. If we do not have payment, set installments or proof of funding application 7 days before your class start date, you will be removed from class.
10 week class fees are as follows, please remember the first time you register the GymSask fee will be added on as well: Weekday Morning Class Fees $95.94 - 30 minute class once per week $160.40 - 45 minute class once per week $171.18 - 1 hour class once per week Evening or Weekend Class Fees $213.90 - 45 minute class once per week $253.60 - 1 hour class once per week $316.50 - 1.5 hour class once per week
Please note: if there is a discrepency between fees listed here, and fees on the registration platform, the later will prevail.
Pre-competitive and competitive program fees are provided at the time athletes are invited into the programs.
Recreation Program Discounts
If you are registering multiple children from the same family, within the same session and program, you are entitled to a 5% discount off of each class fee (not the Gym Sask fee). To receive this discount, the registrations must be on the same invoice.
If you are registering one athlete for multiple classes within the same program and session, you are entitled to a 10% discount off of each class fee (not the Gym Sask fee). To receive this discount the registrations must be on the same invoice.
Payment Options
Payment can be made online by Visa, MasterCard at the time of registration. Offline payments can also be made with cash, cheque or e-transfer. When paying by e-transfer, choose offline payment and then send an e-transfer to [email protected] after completing the registration process. If you do not select the offline payment option, your registration will not be complete or saved. If you have a credit on your account, the option to use it will show up at the end of the registration when choosing your method of payment. If paying by Kidsport, proof of application must be provided seven days before program start date. There will be a $30.00 NSF added on to all returned payments.
Outside Funding
Yes! We accept payments from KidSport, JumpStart and Social Services to name a few. When you are going through the registration process, it is going to ask you if you would like to pay in full, or with installments. You must choose to pay in full. As you continue through the registration, the last step is to select your method of payment. When you get to this point, you will select to make an offline payment to compete the registration. We must receive confirmation of your funding application seven (7) days before the progroam start date confirming that you are waiting for funding to come in. We may require the Gym Sask fee to be paid while we wait for the funding to come through.
Refund Policy
Class registration fees will be refunded in full, 7 days (1 week) prior to class start date. Class fees are refundable within the firsttwoweek of the session less the cost of the class that have taken place and a $25.00 administration fee. Once the second class has started, it is considered past the second week. Refund requests after the second class, will be dealt with on a case by case basis. These requests must be accompanied by a doctor’s note. Any request for a refund after 1 month of session end date will not be considered. Credits will stay on your account indefinitely. Gymnastics Saskatchewan fees are non-refundable.
Recreation Class Policies
Class fees are subject to change between sessions. Classes are subject to change based on registration and coach availability. Make up classes will only be offered when a class cannot run during its regularly scheduled time and Taiso has cancelled the class. Make up classes or refunds will not be offered when there are circumstances out of Taiso's control - example: inclement weather. There are no make up classes available when athletes are unable to attend due to illness, vacation or other situations, when class is running as scheduled.
